In 1994, Kevin Zimmerman scored a goal on a penalty kick in the National Tournament in the 11th round of PK’s. YC ended up winning that match over Mercer Community College.

Yavapai has one final match in the 2011 regular season. The Roughriders will be at Glendale Community College on Saturday, October 22nd. The match will kick-off at 12:00 PM. YC begins playoff action next Wednesday, October 26th against an opponent yet to be determined. The match will be played at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley beginning at 6:00 PM. Because it is a Region I event, the admission price will be $5 for adults and $3 for students ages 5 and up.
