On Friday, the Roughrider volleyball team defeated Chandler/Gilbert Community College 3-1 (16-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-22) to conclude the 2010 season with a 25-12 overall record and a 12-6 mark in the ACCAC standings.

The Roughrider volleyball team beat Phoenix College Wednesday night in Prescott, 3-1 (25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 25-21). That makes the fifth conference sweep of the year for the lady spikers and improves their record to 24-12 and 11-6 in ACCAC action. The 11 conference wins are the most since 1996.

VB Falls To #17 Glendale...

The Roughrider volleyball team fell Tuesday night to #17 ranked Glendale Community College 3-2 (23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 18-25, 12-15). YC is now 6-10 against ranked teams on the season. Yavapai falls to 23-12 overall and 10-6 in the ACCAC. Glendale improves to 14-11 overall and 10-6 in conference standings.
