Volleyball Finishes the Season as District B Runner Up

Despite a valiant fight the Roughriders fell in a 5 set battle with Gila Monsters on Friday night in the District B Championship match. The final scores were 26-24, 21-25, 25-16, 21-25, 11-15. The Yavapai College soccer team qualified for their 21st NJCAA National Tournament with a 5-1 victory over Snow College Friday afternoon in the NJCAA West District Tournament at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott. Yavapai College soccer captured their 22nd NJCAA Region I Championship with a hard-fought 2-1 road victory in Tucson over the Aztecs from Pima Community College Saturday night.
