Yavapai Downs Paradise Valley 12-2

In the sweltering Phoenix heat Saturday afternoon, the Roughrider soccer team scored 8 second half goals to cruise to a 12-2 victory over Paradise Valley Community College to advance their record to 6-2-0 overall and in conference play. Paradise Valley falls to 3-4-1 on the year.

Ten different Roughriders scored in the match with Esteban Franco and Jacob Downey each scoring twice.

The Green and Gold return to the pitch on Tuesday, September 18th in Yuma against Arizona Western College (6-1-1) with kick-off set for 4:30 PM. YC returns to Ken Lindley Field on Thursday, September 20th entertaining Pima Community College and then hosting Phoenix College on Saturday, September 22nd. Both matches will begin at 6:00 PM
