Yavapai Soccer Falls to Trinidad State In District Playoff

The Roughrider soccer team lost to Trinidad State Junior College, 3-1 in the NJCAA West District Playoffs Friday afternoon in Cheyenne, Wyoming. YC concludes the regular season with an 18-4-0 overall record. The Trojans from Colorado (17-4-0) will move on to the NJCAA National Tournament in Tyler, Texas as West District champions.

66th minute – John Kanner (2,700th goal all-time for the Yavapai soccer program)

The Roughriders are now 20-3-0 all-time in district playoff competition. Yavapai College enters the 2017 season with a 592-54-27, 28-year overall record and will host next season’s NJCAA Division I National Soccer Tournament, November 13-18, 2017.
