The Lady Rider basketball team moved closer to their 25th straight trip to the NJCAA Division I Region I Playoff spot with 69-57 victory over Phoenix College Saturday in Phoenix. For her efforts this past week, sophomore basketball player Kayla Willliams was named the ACCAC DI Player of the Week. In two games, the Seattle native averaged 22 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 73% (19/26) from the field. It is the second time this season that a Lady Rider has been so honored.
