Four YC Kickers Named To All-Region Soccer Team

Brings total to 119 all-time, all-region Roughriders

Yavapai College is well represented on the NJCAA All-Region One Soccer Team. Freshmen defender David Mack of Tigard, Oregon along with sophomore midfielder Milan Popovic from Las Vegas, Nevada was named to the All-Region First Team. Mack was Region Runner-up Player of the Year while Popovic was fifth in voting among all region players. Freshmen Goalkeeper Bradley Trella from Chandler, Arizona was named to the All-Region Second Team while sophomore forward Matthew Paine of Portland, Oregon was an honorable mention. The Roughriders (16-2-3 in 2013, 533-45-18 all-time) will host a region semifinal playoff match on Wednesday night at Ken Lindley Field seeking their 21st Region Title since 1990. In the program’s 25-year history, the Roughriders now have 119 players named to the NJCAA All-Region One Soccer Team.
