YC is now 260-9-1 all-time at home

The #5 ranked Yavapai College soccer team defeated Paradise Valley Community College 9-1 in their Prescott home opener at Ken Lindley Field Thursday night. YC used 8 unanswered goals en route to their fourth victory of the year. YC is now 4-0-0 and Paradise Valley falls to 1-3-0.

It was a combined effort in goal for the lopsided victory with McKay Owsley and Daniel Diaz splitting the time.

In their next match, YC takes a break from conference play as they travel to Palm Desert, California to play the College of the Desert on Saturday, September 7, 2013.

Yavapai will resume ACCAC action on Tuesday, September 10th as they entertain #8 Phoenix College. The match will be played at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley beginning at 6:00 PM.
