Yavapai College Soccer Team members moving on to four-year universities include goalkeepers Agustin Rey (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, NCAA Div. One) and Daniel Sellitti (Western Michigan University, NCAA Div. One); defenders Sam Cusack (University of Central Arkansas, NCAA Div. One), Rysen Barnett (Grand Canyon University, NCAA Div. One), Joey Lutostanski (W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University) Alonso Diaz (University of Nevada-Las Vegas School of Mechanical Engineering; attackers Julien Dragomir (University of Nevada-Las Vegas, NCAA Div. One), Kyle Morris (professional soccer-Perth, Australia), Gouedan Halley (Howard R. Hughes School of Engineering, University of Nevada-Las Vegas), Carlos Lara (University of Nevada-Las Vegas, NCAA Div. One), Dylan Hardie-Jordan (Hawaii Pacific University, NCAA Div. II).

Notable individual statistics: Rey (0.68 goals against average), Sellitti (129 saves, 3rd all-time in school history), Dragomir (36 goals, 9th all-time), Morris (34 goals, 12th all-time), Cusack (+134, 14th all-time, NSCAA Scholar All-American & NJCAA Academic All-American), Halley (18 goals, NJCAA Academic All-American); Barnett (NJCAA Academic All-American). The overall grade point average for the sophomore class, as of this writing, is 3.42. The 2012 team were conference and region champions finishing with an overall record of 21-3-0.

Yavapai College will begin their 25th soccer season in August. The Roughriders all-time record is 517-43-18 since the program inception in 1989. Yavapai has captured 69 conference, region, district and national titles, including seven national championships.
