Soccer Rolls

The Roughrider soccer team scored four unanswered goals in a 4-1 victory Saturday night at Ken Lindley Field against Glendale Community College (5-4-1). Yavapai maintains first place in the ACCAC with a conference record of 8-0-2 and an overall record of 9-0-2. YC is now 238-8-1 all-time at home.

Tonight’s match concludes the first half of the league season and on Tuesday afternoon Yavapai starts the second half at Paradise Valley Community College (4-6-0). In their first meeting of the season, YC edged the Pumas 2-1. Tuesday’s game will begin at 2:00 p.m.
