Volleyball Outlasts Phoenix College

In the final match of the Roughrider Invitational presented by Marriott Hotels the host Roughriders needed all 5 sets to beat the Bears of Phoenix College. Volleyball Improves With Win Over South Mountain CC

Yavapai continued their winning ways in the friendly confines of Walraven Gym on Saturday with a 3-2 win over South Mountain CC. Yavapai won by score of 19-25, 25-21, 25-10, 16-25, 15-10. Volleyball Takes Down NMMI (#17) in 3 Sets

Yavapai Volleyball improved their record to 5-6 with a 3-0 (25-19, 28-26, 29-27) win over New Mexico Military Institute on the first day of the Roughrider Invitational. After returning from a weekend tournament in Texas which saw the Roughrider Volleyball (4-6) team make significant improvements they dropped 3 straight sets, 21-25, 16-25, 18-25 to Central Arizona (4-1). Kayle Park Earns All-Tournament Honors in New Mexico

On Monday the All-Tournament team for the New Mexico Military Institute Invitational was announced. Freshman setter Kayle Park was chosen by all of the coaches participating in the tournament as one of the top seven players among the six teams competing.
