Volleyball Finishes Roughrider Invitational 2-1

On Saturday evening Yavapai finished the last match of the Roughrider Invitational presented by Marriott Hotels with a 3-1 over South Mountain CC. Yavapai won by scores of 25-15, 17-25, 25-22, 25-21. Volleyball Named NJCAA All-Academic Team

The Roughrider volleyball team was named an NJCAA All-Academic Team Thursday with a 3.26 overall GPA this past season. At the end of the fall semester the 15 volleyball team members achieved a team GPA of 3.30 with 12 of them being named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (3.00 or higher GPA).
