Play-off Hopes Continue For V-Ball

The Lady Rider volleyball team kept their playoff hopes alive Saturday in Yuma despite going 1-1 on the day. Saturday afternoon, YC fell to the ACCAC DI Champions #10 ranked Eastern Arizona College 3-0 (17-25, 16-25, 11-25). Shackleford Garners Second Award

For the second time this season, Yavapai College volleyball player Haley Shackleford has been named the ACCAC's Volleyball Division 1 Player of the Week for the week ending October 10th. On the first day of the Northern Oklahoma College Tournament, the Roughrider volleyball swept Eastfield College, TX 25-15, 25-20, 25-13.
