Yavapai Dominates Paradise Valley

The Roughrider softball team swept an ACCAC doubleheader Saturday afternoon over Paradise Valley Community College, 4-2 and 8-1. Yavapai improves to 26-10 on the season and 18-8 in conference play. For the third consecutive week, a Roughrider softball player was named ACCAC DI Player/Pitcher of the Week. Dustie Durham garnered the honor this past week. Dustie was 2-1 on the week while beating Lake Region and Howard College. Dustie threw 19 innings while only allowing 11 hits and 2 base on balls.
