Softball Takes Split In Openers

The #1 ranked Roughrider softball team split the season opener Friday afternoon in Las Vegas dropping the first game to #13 Salt Lake City Community College, 14-3 and winning in the second over Western Nevada, 12-2. Workman, Pineda Sign NLI

YC softball players Audrey Workman and Chelsea Pineda have signed NCAA National Letters of Intent for the 2010-11 seasons. Workman inked with Ball State University and Pineda with Coastal Carolina University. Both players were instrumental in the 2009 NJCAA Championship season.
