Roughriders Trample Matadors

The Roughrider baseball team began a non-conference three-game series with Arizona Western College Friday afternoon in Phoenix and YC came away with a 12-3 victory. YC is now 3-2 on the young season. The Roughrider baseball team had a tough go of it on Saturday in Henderson, Nevada dropping a pair of games to New Mexico Junior College, 6-5, and College of Southern Nevada, 9-1. The Roughrider baseball team erupted for 31 runs on the first day of the Southern Nevada Border Classic to begin the 2018 season. In the opener, YC beat Colorado Northwestern Community College, 11-2.
