Roughrider assistant baseball coach Josh Garcia has accepted an assistant coaching position with the University of Arizona. Garcia steps down after 2 seasons with the Roughriders. Eight former Roughrider baseball players and their current teams were selected to the 64 team NCAA Baseball Tournament. Oregon State claimed the overall #1 seed in the tournament featuring former YC outfielder/pitcher Michael Howard. As voted on by the ACCAC coaches Sunday, YC baseball players Luke Doyle, Andrew Hermanson and Brody Clifford were named to the ACCAC/NJCAA All-Region I teams. All three players are freshmen.
