Roughrider Soccer Camp - June 9-12, 2008

The 20th annual Roughrider Soccer Camp will take place June 9-12, 2008 at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott. The program, conducted by the Yavapai College Soccer Team, will be held from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. for boys and girls, ages 5-12. Cost includes instruction, soccer ball, camp shirt and many other Roughrider soccer souvenirs.

Registration is underway. For further information contact the City of Prescott Registration Department at 928-777-1122 or sign up at the Activity Center, 824 East Gurley Street in Prescott.

Roughrider Basketball Camp - June 16-19, 2008

The Roughrider Basketball Camp will take place June 16-19, 2008 at The Storm Center on the campus of Yavapai College.

Instruction will begin at 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM. The Roughrider Basketball Camp is coed and limited to campers between the ages of 5-13. Head Coaches Brad Clifford (Women's Team) and Howard Brown (Men's Team) will direct the camp with help from staff and players. Cost is $75 per camper.

Free Soccer Clinic - Fri., Aug. 22, 2008 - Prescott Valley

Members of the 2008 Yavapai College Soccer Team will be conducting a free soccer clinic at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley on Friday, Aug. 22. The clinic will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Boys and girls ages 5-16 are eligible to participate. No registration is required. If possible, participants should bring their own soccer ball. In addition, a coaches clinic will take place in conjunction with the players clinic.
