The first match for Yavapai volleyball in the Badger Bash went to the maximum 5 sets and into extra points in the 5th set. Yavapai volleyball made the long trip to Yuma, AZ and returned home with a 5 set victory over the #10 ranked team in the latest NJCAA poll. The Roughriders took the first two sets 25-22 and 25-23. Sophomore outside hitter Casey Johnson was selected to the all-tournament for the New Mexico Military Institute Invitational held in Roswell, NM August 22nd and 23rd.
