Former YC Athletic Director and Assistant Basketball Coach Passes

Former YC Assistant Basketball Coach and interim Athletic Director Dave Strack passed away Saturday in Tucson after a bout with pneumonia. He was 90. Coach Strack had an illustrious coaching career. The Roughrider softball and baseball teams will begin their 2014 seasons in Henderson, Nevada. The softball team will play games beginning on Friday the 31st against College of Southern Idaho. Mike Pantalione, the first and only head soccer coach at Yavapai College, has been named National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) West Region Coach of the Year for the 15th time since 1990.
