Softball Concludes Day 2-1

The Roughrider softball team finished the first day of the Kick-off Classic in Las Vegas with a 2-1 record.

YC beat Western Nevada Community College in the afternoon (no score available) and fell to College of Southern Nevada in the nightcap, 8-0.

Yavapai could only manage two hits against the Southern Nevada pitching while the Coyotes tagged the Roughrider pitching for 9 hits.

The Roughriders resume tournament play on Saturday against Colorado Northwestern Community College, Snow College and El Paso Community College.
