Three Roughriders Named to Coaches Association All-West Team

Three Yavapai College soccer players were named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Junior College Division One Men’s All-West Team. They include sophomore midfielder Jose Perez Flores (McMinnville, Oregon) along with freshmen defender Gabriel Claudio (Yuma, Arizona) and freshmen midfielder Kevyn Lo (Portland, Oregon). This brings the total to 142 All-West honors awarded from the 30-year Yavapai College soccer program.

Founded in 1941 and based in Kansas City, Missouri, the United Soccer Coaches (formerly the National Soccer Coaches Association of America) has grown into the world’s largest soccer coaches’ organization. The next annual national convention will take place in Chicago, January 16-20, 2019.
