Yavapai Dominates Paradise Valley in Soccer Action

In bitter, rainy conditions, the Roughrider soccer team won their 13th game of the season Saturday afternoon at Mountain Valley Park over Paradise Valley Community College, 7-0. Yavapai is now 13-5 overall and 12-5 in ACCAC action. Paradise Valley falls to 5-11-1 on the year.

Jose Perez Flores got his 33rd and 34th assist of his YC career breaking the all-time Yavapai record previously held by Rudy Duarte (32).

Yavapai continues conference play on Tuesday, October 16th entertaining the Matadors from Arizona Western College. In their first meeting of the year, YC lost to Arizona Western, 4-3 after leading 3-0 at halftime. Tuesday’s match will be played at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott and kickoff will be at 6:00 PM.
