Soccer Turns In a Dominating Performance on the Road

The Roughrider soccer team won their first road game of the season Tuesday night with a 7-0 victory over Paradise Valley Community College at Rose Mofford Park in Phoenix, the site of the Roughriders 7th National Championship. YC improves to 4-0-0 on the season and 3-0-0 in the ACCAC. Paradise Valley falls to 0-3-0 on the year.

All three Roughrider goalkeepers, Justin Motzkus, Spencer Coffin and Tyler Trump, combined for the second shutout of the season with each keeper playing 30 minutes. The shutout was the 350th in YC history.

The Roughriders stay on the road for their next match on Friday in Tucson against Pima Community College. The match will begin at 7:00 PM at Kino Sports Complex.
