Roughrider Soccer Sophomores Moving On

One), Hugo Gutierrez (California Baptist University / NCAA Div. II), Jose Labanino (Northwest Nazarene University, Idaho / NCAA Div. II), Darion Green (College of Idaho / NAIA), Ascari Robles (Dixie State University, Utah / NCAA Div. II); Attackers Memo Diaz (University of Nevada, Las Vegas / NCAA Div. One), Juanjo Carmona-deVille (University of Central Arkansas / NCAA Div. I), Ather Dawood (Dixie State University, Utah / NCAA Div. II) , Kevin Otokore (Clayton State University, Georgia / NCAA II), Reece Weldon (Keiser University, Florida / NAIA); Goalkeeper Greg Patenaude (University of California-Irvine / NCAA Div. One). With offers on the table, attacker Miles McRae will be making his final decision soon.

The sophomore class was undefeated in 42 out of their 46 career matches at Yavapai College including capturing two ACCAC conference titles in 2014 and 2015. The Roughriders outscored their opponents by a margin of 165 goals during their tenure.

Yavapai College will begin their 28th soccer season on August 23 with a road match against Chandler-Gilbert Community College. The Roughriders all-time record is 574-50-27 since the program inception in 1989. Yavapai has captured 73 conference, region, district and national titles, including seven national championships.
