Two Roughriders Named to the NJCAA All-America Soccer Team

The National Junior College Athletic Association announced their Men’s Division One All-America Soccer Team today from their Colorado Springs office and Yavapai’s sophomore Niall Logue received first team honors. Logue anchored the Roughriders defense which recorded 10 shutouts and a 0.94 goals against average. Sophomore forward Reece Weldon, posted a team high 25 goals, 13 assists for 63 points, was named to the NJCAA second team. Yavapai finished the 2015 season with a 19-3-1 record and captured their 25th conference title. Logue and Weldon becomes the 57th and 58th soccer All-American in the school’s history. The prestigious National Soccer Coaches Association All-America team will be released next week.
