Volleyball Suffers 2nd Loss to Arizona Western

2014 yc nmm_3819When the Roughriders returned from the long trip to Yuma they did not bring a win home with them. Yavapai dropped their Friday night match with the Matadors by scores of 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 21-25.

Sophomore middle blocker Kendy Klump had a strong performance. She accumulated a team high 9 kills, .316 hitting percentage and added a team high 5.5 blocks. Fellow middle blocker Braxton Fenter contributed 6 kills along with freshman outside hitter Amanda Eno. Freshman libero Brooke Donnelly lead the Roughriders with 17 digs and freshman setter Kayle Park collected 17 assists.

Yavapai travels to Scottsdale on Wednesday for their next ACCAC match at 7:00 pm.
