Soccer Fights to Stay on Top of ACCAC

The top two teams in the ACCAC squared off Saturday night at Ken Lindley Field and appropriately, the top two teams finished the night tied after two overtimes, 0-0. It was only the third tie at Ken Lindley Field in the Roughriders 26-year history (274-10-3). This game was also the 4th straight match for the Riders against a nationally ranked team. Glendale is currently ranked #15.

Goalkeeper Bradley Trella played all 110 minutes in goal recording 2 saves. It was the 8th shutout of the season.

Yavapai’s next match will be a matinee affair at Chandler-Gilbert Community College kicking off at 4:30 PM.
