Four Roughriders Earn NJCAA Academic All-American Status

The NJCAA recently announced their 2013-14 Academic Student-Athlete Awards and four Roughriders garnered the honor. The awards, formerly known as NJCAA Academic All-American honors, are broken down into three categories:
NJCAA Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence (4.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale)
NJCAA Award for Superior Academic Achievement (3.80 – 3.99 on a 4.00 scale)
NJCAA Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement (3.60 – 3.79 on a 4.00 scale)
Roughrider Student-Athletes earning the award are: Stephen Carabajal (Exemplary Academic Achievement); Rebecca Long (Exemplary Academic Achievement); Logan Pollei (Exemplary Academic Achievement; and Nicholas Sagendorf (Exemplary Academic Achievement).
Including the new recipients, YC has had 55 NJCAA Academic All-Americans.
