Soccer Beats The Bears

Yavapai improves their home record to 263-9-2.

In the battle of the unbeatens Monday night, Yavapai defeated Phoenix College, 2-1 at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott. YC is now 10-0-1 overall and 9-0-1 in ACCAC. Phoenix suffers their first loss of the year and stands at 9-1-0. The match concludes the first half of the regular season and with the victory it positions Yavapai in first place in the conference standings.

The second half of the season begins Thursday, September 26th when Yavapai has their first match of three consecutive road matches beginning at Chandler-Gilbert Community College with kick-off at 7:00pm. YC will be at Glendale on Saturday, September 28th and Wednesday, October 2nd at Pima before returning home for a rare Friday match on October 4th against GateWay Community College at Ken Lindley Field at 6:00 PM.
