Former Roughrider Scores Game Winner

Former Roughrider soccer player, Alan Gordon scored in the second-half injury time to give the 10-man San Jose Earthquakes a shocking 3-2 victory against the Los Angeles Galaxy at Stanford University Stadium on Saturday night. Gordon scored on a header at the back post in the 93rd minute as the sellout crowd of 50,028 went bonkers. A former NSCAA All-American and NJCAA Soccer Hall of Fame Inductee, Gordon scored 38 goals and recorded 26 assists for the Roughriders during the 2000 and 2001 college seasons.
