Post-Season Honors For Heimburg

After a sensational sophomore season, softball player Brandi Heimburg was named to the NJCAA Division I All-American 2nd Team for her efforts on the diamond. In addition to the NJCAA All-American status, Heimburg was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) 2nd Team All-West Region. As a freshman, Heimburg was named to the NFCA All-West Region and All-American Team.

The University of New Mexico bound outfielder led the Roughriders in hitting at a .444 clip. She also led the team in hits (87), doubles (18), triples (60) and runs scored (60).

Additional members from the ACCAC receiving All-American status includes Yvette Alvarez (Pima) and Jessica Loiacano (Central Arizona).
