National Coaches Association Announces All-America Team

Another honor has been awarded to sophomore Sam Cusack. The trustworthy defender was named to the prestigious National Soccer Coaches Association-Continental Tire Junior College All-America First Team. The NSCAA All-America ceremonies will take place in Indianapolis on January 19. 2013. Cusack anchored the Yavapai College defense the past two seasons playing in all 47 matches (40-4-3 overall record) with a plus/minus of +134. He is the 52nd soccer All-American from the Roughrider program. Earlier in the month, Cusack was named to the NJCAA All-America team. Furthermore, because of his high grade point average, Cusack is a virtual lock for the NJCAA and NSCAA Academic All-American team when they are announced at the end of the school year.
