Soccer Wins Battle Of The Titans

249th win at Ken Lindley Field, 506th all-time

The first place and #2 nationally ranked Roughrider soccer team beat the second place and #6 ranked Arizona Western College soccer team Thursday night, 4-1 at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott. Yavapai scored 4 unanswered goals in the second half for the come-from-behind victory. The win moves YC to 10-0-0 (30 points) while the visiting Matadors fall to 8-2-0 (24 points).

In the 24th minute of play, AWC scored the first goal of the game to take the early lead that carried through to halftime. In the second half, the Roughriders answered with 4 goals to secure the victory.
