J-Rod and Petersen Honored

Jonathan Rodriguez and Ryan Petersen were named ACCAC Batter of the Week and Pitcher of the Week respectively, for their efforts in three wins last week in clinching the schools 13th conference baseball championship.

Rodriguez and Petersen will lead the Roughriders against Arizona Western College beginning Thursday in a best-of-three game series in the opening round of the NJCAA Region I Division Playoffs. The winner of the series will advance to the championship series on May 10-12 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
