Riders Bit By Gila Monsters

The Roughrider volleyball team fell to the #9 ranked Gila Monsters from Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher Friday night, 3-0 (20-25, 21-25, 16-25). Yavapai is now 6-8 overall and 2-3 in ACCAC action. EAC improves their overall mark to 15-3 and 5-0 in conference play.

LeAnna Lloyd had 10 kills, Libby Ary had 24 assists and Taheerah Moten added 8 digs.

The lady spikers return to the court on Wednesday, September 28th playing host to Pima Community College (0-11, 0-7). The match will be played in Walraven Gym on the Prescott campus beginning at 7:00 p.m.
