Kyle Morris and Beto Godinez each recorded a hat trick Saturday night in Prescott Valley to lead the Roughrider soccer team to a 9-1 victory over the Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs. This was the first meeting between these two teams and the 76th different opponent that Yavapai has faced in its 23-year existence. YC improves their overall record to 5-0-1 and Western Wyoming falls to 2-2-0.

YC returns to conference play on Tuesday, September 13th in a showdown for first place with Chandler/Gilbert Community College. the match will be played at Chandler/Gilbert and will kick-off at 7:00 PM. The Roughriders return to the home pitch on Thursday, September 15th against Mesa Community College. That match will be played at the amphitheater in Prescott Valley beginning at 6:00 PM.
