Iveson Part Of Pan American Title

The USA Junior Softball Team went undefeated in the III Pan American Championships in Bogota, Columbia August 8-14 to qualify for the International Softball Federation (ISF) Junior Women’s World Championship to be held December 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa. USA softball dominated the competition going 9-0 in the tournament allowing only 7 runs while plating 77.

Yavapai’s head softball coach Stacy Iveson was a member of the coaching staff of the national team. Of the event Iveson said, “It was an incredible experience to be a part of this team. I really enjoyed coaching this group of very talented young athletes. I appreciated the opportunity to work with the coaching staff; with all of their experience and knowledge I was able to learn a lot of things I can bring back to my softball team at Yavapai.”
