Brossart, Morin Commit
Sophomore softball players Molly Brossart and Kylie Morin have committed to the University of South Carolina for the fall. They will join Ashley Snedeker in the prestigious Southeastern Conference. Snedeker inked with the University of Florida earlier this summer. Brossart and Morin become the fifth and sixth 2010 Roughriders to sign an NCAA Division I scholarship – Snedeker, Tatum Day (Utah State), Audrey Workman (Ball State) and Chelsea Pineda (Coastal Carolina) all signed earlier in the year.
Brossart was instrumental in the Roughriders success this past season hitting .433 for the season and leading the team in home runs with 12. Morin, a member of the 2009 NJCAA championship team, hit .358 this past season and was a perfect 9 for 9 in stolen bases.
