Cougars Attack The Roughriders

The Roughrider men’s basketball team lost in Phoenix Saturday afternoon to South Mountain Community College, 70-65. YC falls to 4-20 overall and 4-12 in the ACCAC and South Mountain improves to 12-13 overall and a 6-10 conference mark.

Yavapai was led by Dionte Goodlett with 18 points including three 3-pointers. Colin Borchert added 14 points and DJ Barmore chipped in 13.

YC entertains Chandler/Gilbert Community College on Wednesday, February 10th. In their first meeting, the Coyotes beat the Roughriders 73-55. Tip-off will be at 7:30 PM in the Storm Center on the campus of Yavapai College in Prescott.
