Coaching Change For Men’s BB

Through careful and prolonged deliberations, the Yavapai College Athletic Department announces a change in its coaching staff. This change is made with the intention of looking to the future to improve the quality and success of the Yavapai College Men’s Basketball Program.

Effective immediately, Eric Fundalewicz, Assistant Coach of YC Men’s Basketball, will assume the position of Interim Head Coach for YC Men’s Basketball until a new head coach is hired.

Howard Brown, who held the head coach position, has been reassigned within the athletic department to utilize his many skills and abilities to address current needs.

Scott Farnsworth, Director for Athletics at Yavapai College stated, “Changes like this, while not frequent, are sometimes necessary for our program to progress and move forward in a positive way. We eagerly look forward to what the future may hold for our Men’s Basketball team.”

Yavapai College has six intercollegiate athletic teams, including men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and soccer and competes in Division I of the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA).
