Former Roughrider Scores International Goal

Former Yavapai College soccer player Roger Espinoza scored a second half goal to lead Honduras to a 3-1 victory over the United States in a International Friendly at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California Saturday night. Espinoza played for the Roughriders during the 2005 and 2006 season before moving on to Ohio State University. He was an NJCAA and NSCAA All-American for Yavapai in 2006. The midfielder from Denver, Colorado also plays for the Kansas City Wizards in Major League Soccer.
