Softball Honors

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced their 2009 Junior College All-American Teams. The Roughriders were well represented placing five players on the squad.

Being named to the first team was Jenna Rodriguez, pitcher; Brittany Tucker, catcher; Kacie Smith, infield; and Caitlin Stangl, outfield. Pitcher Audrey Workman was named to the second team. For the second straight year, Smith and Stangl earned first team honors. In 2008, Rodriguez and Tucker were named to the second team.
