Reiher Moves On

Sophomore basketball player Danielle Reiher has signed a letter of intent to play for Head Coach Tim Kirby and Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas for the 2009-2010 season. The Lady Bison were 20-10 last season competing in the NCAA Division II Gulf South Conference.

Reiher played only one season at YC after transferring from fellow ACCAC school Mesa Community College. The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 10.9 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game leading the Lady Riders to their 27th consecutive trip to the NJCAA Region I play-offs. “Danielle is able to play inside and out and will make an immediate contribution to a very good program”, said YC head coach Brad Clifford.
