Roughriders Win First Game...

The #2 ranked Roughrider baseball team won the first game of a three-game series with Cochise College Thursday afternoon, 5-4. Rick Anton got the victory in 7 innings pitched scattering nine hits and striking out seven.

Softball Takes Top Ranking...

The Roughrider softball returns to the top spot in the NJCAA Division I Polls this week before entering the Region I Tournament Friday. Yavapai moved up one spot from last week’s ranking of #2.

Going into the NJCAA Region I Division I Tournament the Roughrider softball team is ranked #2 in the latest NJCAA polls up from last week’s #3 ranking. YC will be the #1 seed in the regional tournament with a first round bye.
