The #2 ranked Roughrider softball team split a road doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at Eastern Arizona College (16-6, 40-16). YC lost the first game 6-5 and prevailed in the nightcap 7-4. Yavapai remains in first place of the ACCAC with 20-2 record and a 44-3 season clip.

Seven Yavapai College players, key members for the school’s sixth and seventh national championship soccer teams, will be moving on to NCAA Division One programs next fall. The players were 50-2-0 in their two-year career as a Roughrider, including a perfect 26-0-0 season in 2008.
