The Yavapai College men’s basketball team won their first conference game of the year in Phoenix over South Mountain Community College, 65-62. YC came from behind to gain their fourth victory of the year against seven losses.
Jordan Daisy led the charge with 24 points. Matt Coakley added 13 points and Daniel Duran chipped in 11.
YC will play host to #7 ranked Chandler/Gilbert Community College on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off will be at 4:00 PM.
