Lady Riders Beat Cougars

The Lady Rider basketball team outlasted the Cougars from South Mountain Community College tonight in Phoenix, 76-72. YC is now 6-4 overall and 3-2 in ACCAC action.

Yavapai had four players in double figures led by Lerrin Cook with 14 points. She also had 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Julianne Forte` had 13 points and 4 rebounds. Sandy Cook chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds and Danielle Reiher added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

On Saturday, Yavapai plays host to Chandler/Gilbert Community College. The game will tip-off at 2:00 PM in the Storm Center on the campus of Yavapai College in Prescott.
