Volleyball Sweeps Mesa

Yavapai College volleyball kept its play-off hopes alive, sweeping Mesa Wednesday night at Mesa 25-18, 25-15, 25-17. The Lady Riders are now 16-18 overall and 7-8 in the ACCAC, one game behind Arizona Western College who beat Chandler/Gilbert Community College last night, 3-1.
Win keeps play-off hopes lit
In order for YC to make the playoffs, the Matadors must lose to Pima Community College on Friday and Yavapai must win their final two matches on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday night, YC plays host to #11 ranked Phoenix College who beat the Lady Riders in their first meeting of the season 3-2. The match will begin at 7:00 PM in the Storm Center on the campus of Yavapai College in Prescott.
