Roughrider Kickers Win Season Opener

The #1 ranked Roughrider soccer team won their home conference and season opener tonight at Ken Lindley Field in Prescott crushing the visiting Thunderbirds from Mesa Community College, 12-0.

The victory gives the storied soccer program its 198th home victory and 418th overall win in the 20-year history

Nine different players score; Garcia gets hat trick; Panchenko has goal and 2 assists

The scoring started early and continued often as nine different Roughrider players found the back of the net with YC exploding for 9 goals in the second half. The defending National Champions are now 1-0 overall and in ACCAC action. YC continues league play on Wednesday, August 27th at Glendale Community College for a matinee affair beginning at 1:00 PM.
